Half The SKY - PBS - 2012 - Assistant Editor
A four-hour television series for PBS and international broadcast inspired by Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn’s best-selling book, Half the Sky tells the stories women and girls around the world who are living under some of the most difficult circumstances imaginable—and fighting bravely to change them. Traveling with intrepid reporter Nicholas Kristof and A-list celebrity advocates America Ferrera, Diane Lane, Eva Mendes, Meg Ryan, Gabrielle Union, and Olivia Wilde, the film explores viable and sustainable options for empowerment and offers an actionable blueprint for transformation.
Filmed in ten countries—Cambodia, Kenya, India, Sierra Leone, Somaliland, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Liberia, and the United States—the series premiered on PBS in October, 2012, as a special presentation of the highly acclaimed series Independent Lens, garnering lavish critical acclaim and drawing an audience of more than five million unique viewers—a success that increased viewership 134 percent over the Independent Lens season-to-date average. As one reviewer raved: “Half the Sky. . . Is that rare television experience that will bring the world into your living room, open your eyes to other people’s lives and make you forget that you ever wasted your time, if you did, on Jersey Shore.” As of March 2013, the series had been sold for broadcast to 148 territories around the world.

The First 48 takes viewers behind the scenes of real-life investigations as it follows homicide detectives in the critical first 48 hours of murder investigations, giving viewers unprecedented access to crime scenes, interrogations and forensic processing.
The vital countdown is on. Miami, Dallas, Vegas, Phoenix, Memphis, Detroit, Kansas City, and San Antonio -- murders are committed in these cities every day. But it is the first 48 hours of an investigation that determine the odds on whether the murderer is ever caught and brought to justice.

Sometimes you wear many hats. For this piece I shot, edited, did sound and after effects work.
LORD TOM is a new American musical inspired by Harriet Beecher Stowe’s seminal anti-slavery narrative, Uncle Tom’s Cabin, with book by Kimberly Vaughn and Stanley Jay Gelber, and music and lyrics by Mr. Gelber. When first published, Ms. Stowe’s book was outsold only by the Bible. And now, in this 21st Century offering, directed by John Tartaglia, we continue to herald the call for universal justice, global freedom, and unity of spirit in a colorblind world. The electrifying Phillip Boykin, Tony Award nominee and Theatre World Award winner for his portrayal of Crown in Porgy & Bess, stars as Tom and leads a cast of 17 Broadway actors with a compelling script and score of 26 original songs ranging in musical styles from spiritual, blues, gospel, jazz, ragtime, to contemporary ballad, anthem, lullaby, and upbeat comedic swing. LORD TOM takes the audience on a journey in which faith and freedom prevail in this 21st century trajectory of the legendary novel.
